We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for a very special boy named Toby.

Toby, who is just shy of his 8th birthday, has faced more challenges in his young life than most adults ever will. Now, we're hoping to give him the gift of pure joy, magic, and unforgettable memories at Give Kids The World Village and Disney World.

Toby's journey began at the tender age of four when he was diagnosed with leukaemia. For over two long years, he bravely endured gruelling rounds of chemotherapy. We celebrated with immense relief and joy when he finally finished treatment and had the immense satisfaction of ringing the bell, signifying the end of his fight.

However, just five months later, our hearts shattered when Toby relapsed. On his 7th birthday – a day that should have been filled with celebration – he was admitted back into the hospital to restart treatment. This time, it involved a bone marrow transplant, requiring him to be away from home for months, enduring further intense medical procedures.

Today, Toby is approaching his 8th birthday, and while he is currently on an active monitoring treatment plan, the shadow of his illness still looms large. This plan means he is being closely monitored, as there is a high chance his cancer could return for a third time. Every day is a testament to his incredible strength and resilience, but it's also a reminder of the uncertainty he and his family live with.

Through all of this, Toby has shown incredible bravery, an unwavering spirit, and a smile that can light up any room. He deserves a break from hospitals, treatments, and worries. He deserves to experience the unbridled joy and wonder of being a child, free to dream and play.
