Hi my name is Camden. I've set up this GFM for my friend Toba Okikiolu, a 26-year-old who has faced incredible challenges over the past year. After months of homelessness, Toba had finally found stability, renting a room at 2951 N Fair Oaks Ave, Altadena, CA - a home that tragically burned down in the recent wildfire. Now, he’s left with no home, no belongings, and no financial support to rebuild.

Toba has no family financial support and is currently staying with friends, but he doesn’t know what the future holds and needs a permanent place to live. He lost not only his home but also all the belongings that connected him to his history. To make matters worse, months of homelessness have left him in debt, making it even harder to start over.

We’ve set a goal of $25,000 to help Toba get back on his feet. These funds will go toward:

• Temporary housing and basic necessities like food and clothing.

• Paying off debt accumulated during his period of homelessness.

• Securing a new place to live and replacing essential belongings.

Toba is determined to rebuild his life, but he can’t do it alone. He is very humble and was hesitant to ask for help but he absolutely deserves it. He is a very thoughtful and kind person. He wanted to include the address of his former home to provide transparency.

I'm setting up this GoFundMe on Toba's behalf to help relieve some of the stress he's facing during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly to Toba.
