Help Toast Get Lifesaving Surgery

Hello! My name is Haley Gleason. I adopted Toast in November when I saw him posted in a Facebook group by someone who just adopted him from a shelter, but could not keep him anymore. He is blind, and I just could not imagine how scared he would be going back to a shelter when he thought he found his forever home. Toast was first brought into the shelter as a stray with his sister, where they found they both had such bad eye infections that they had to be removed. Sadly, Toast lost his sister during the surgery. I knew I had to take him to save him from going back all alone. 

The reason for this fundraiser is that Toast has been throwing up almost daily since I rescued him. After a $600 vet appointment, they discovered fluid in his stomach and thickening of his intestines . This could be caused by inflammatory bowel disease or lymphoma. He is going to need a endoscopy and biopsy of his intestines so they can make a diagnosis. However, I am a public school teacher in Nashville and cannot afford a $3,000 vet bill on my own. Giving him away is not an option for me, so I am going to do everything in my power to get him the care he needs to live a long, happy, and healthy life with me.
