Toast, my Rottweiler, has been a bundle of energy and joy since I got her around 8 weeks old. Recently, we discovered she has Osteoarthritis in her ankles at an extremely young age, leading to structural problems with her knees and constant micro-tears in her ACLs. This condition has put her in constant discomfort, with pain flare-ups. To prevent further injury, we've had to stop or slow down activities she loves.
The situation is heartbreaking, as Toast is still so young and full of life. We've made adjustments at home, like lowering beds, to make her more comfortable. While we work with veterinarians to understand and treat the underlying cause of her ankle issues, surgery to restructure her knee posture is a potential option to help alleviate her pain, avoid any tears, and improve her quality of life.
The cost of these surgeries and ongoing treatments is significant, and any support would mean the world to us. Your generosity can help Toast get back to enjoying her favorite activities and living a pain-free life.
I've been offering 3D or 2D Art commissions as it's a field I part time work in, while putting whatever I can from my day job into savings for her.
Thank you for considering helping my baby doge!
