Help Toadette get Heartworm treatment
Donation protected
Hi all,
I am raising money to get my foster dog (Toadette) her heartworm treatment. Toadette is a 7 year old stray we picked up from the local animals services. She was scheduled to be euthanized, and to avoid her dismay, my partner and I agreed to foster her as long as she needed it.
Toadette, as we were told, was used in a breeding house. She spent most, if not all of her life, outside. She had to acclimate to doorways, the sound of TV, and even the idea of laying on a dog bed. Through all of this though, Toadette has excelled and fallen right into her place here at our house. She is now an indoor dog forever and there’s no going back.
Toadette has shown immense improvement in the past two months. She has gone from a lethargic, heavy breathing couch potato to an energetic lovebug. She is completely coming out of her shell, but there is still one issue looming over her head.
Toadette has a severe case of heart worms, so bad that the local animal services cannot spend the resources to cure her. I know that once she is completely heathy, she will be living her best possible life with her two other sister dogs.
I am asking for any amount you’re able to donate, just knowing the love for her is there will be enough for us. Thank you so much for your time and consideration
