After nearly 11 years in business, Toad Style was forced to close on May 6th, 2026. The closure was immediate, indefinite and without notice due to a legal crisis with the building. We are asking for support to first and foremost help us pay our staff severance as they look for new jobs. Anything raised after that would help us recover losses from recent orders, bills and closing costs and anything after that can help protect us against the unknown and fund future projects. We are so grateful for any and all contributions!

Toad Style opened in 2015 with the sole intent of providing scratch made vegan food to our immediate neighborhood. Finding the space was the most critical part of our incredibly thrifty, arguably non-existent “business plan.” 93 Ralph was more than we had dreamed of. The landlord was a relatable individual, charmed by our enthusiasm, he helped set us up for success. The plan was always for us all to grow old together in this space and we all did our best to ensure our sustainability. Sadly, it ultimately became impossible to continue, due to unforeseen legal issues outside of our control.

Over the nearly 11 years we were open we not only grew into the people we are today, we got married, had a baby, survived a pandemic, lost loved ones, and met countless friends through staff and customers. We are so grateful for and proud of the time we had and the support we know we’ll bring with us in whatever we do moving forward.
