Help to treat Aurora Kidneys issue

Dear Friends, Animal Lovers, and Kind Strangers,
My name is Hussein, and I am reaching out for help to save my beloved dog, Aurora. I am a software engineer who recently moved from Canada to Berlin, Germany, for a new job. Aurora has been my best friend since she was a puppy, and now at four years old, she is facing a life-threatening health crisis.
Aurora’s Story
When I accepted my job offer in Berlin, I faced airline restrictions that prevented me from flying Aurora directly with me during the winter months. To ensure she could travel safely, I flew with her to Berlin on December 6, 2024. The plan was to find a trusted sitter for her while I completed my commitments with my previous employer and secured a permanent home in Berlin.
I found a sitter for Aurora through a recommendation, and she took care of Aurora starting from December 6. Everything seemed fine until January 28, when I received a devastating message: Aurora had suffered an injury to her back right foot, which became severely infected and required emergency surgery. I was in complete shock but had no choice but to wait until I arrived in Berlin a few days later.
Upon my arrival, the sitter informed me that the vet recommended Aurora stay a few more days to recover before moving again. Trusting that this was in Aurora’s best interest, I agreed. However, the situation took a turn for the worse. On the first weekend of February, after not receiving updates for two days, I learned that Aurora’s kidneys had stopped functioning, and she had been taken back to the vet for emergency infusions.
Desperate to see her, I repeatedly asked for the vet’s contact details, but the answers I received were unclear. As soon as Aurora was discharged, I took her to a reputable veterinary hospital in Berlin, known for its excellent care. Since then, the new vet has been doing everything possible to stabilize her condition, including consulting specialist kidney hospitals across Germany. We received guidance from LMU Munich, one of the best veterinary clinics for kidney issues.
Aurora’s Current Condition
Aurora’s creatinine levels, which should be between 0.5 and 1.5, were dangerously high at 10 when she was first admitted. With continuous care, they had dropped to 5 by February 21, giving us hope that she could recover without dialysis. However, in recent days, her levels have begun to rise again, reaching 4.2 before increasing once more.
Aurora remains hospitalized, receiving constant infusions, but the medical expenses are overwhelming. If her condition does not improve soon, she will need to be transferred to Munich for dialysis, an extremely costly but potentially life-saving procedure.
How You Can Help
Aurora is more than just a pet—she is my family. She has been my source of comfort, love, and companionship, and I am doing everything I can to save her life. But now, I need your help. The medical bills are climbing rapidly, and I want to ensure that I can make the right decisions for her health without financial constraints holding me back. as all of this happened so quickly before I get a chance to get health insurance for her and up till now the bill is over 10000€ starting from her surgery up to today
Any amount you can contribute will go directly towards Aurora’s medical expenses, including her hospitalization, infusions, and potential dialysis treatment. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Aurora’s story to help spread the word.
Thank You
From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate every bit of support. Your kindness and generosity could make all the difference in giving Aurora a fighting chance at life.
With gratitude,
Hussein & Aurora
