- I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my closest friends, Tiana Ballard, to help support her recovery and medical expenses after a traumatic car accident.
- In the early hours of May 19, 2025, around 1:00 a.m., Tiana and a few of her coworkers were returning to their hotel after grabbing some food and spending time together at the pool hall. On their way back, their vehicle was T-boned by another car, resulting in a devastating accident that left all four passengers injured.
- Tiana was sitting in the back passenger seat, which took the brunt of the impact as the car was forced into a concrete pillar. While her coworkers sustained broken wrists, chest injuries, and other trauma, Tiana’s injuries were the most severe. She suffered fractured shoulder blades, two broken ribs, spinal damage, and fractures to her right arm and leg. She is now in an upper body cast to stabilize and assist in healing.Due to not having medical insurance at the time of the accident, Tiana was discharged from the hospital just six days later and is now facing the difficult reality of recovering from home still in immense pain and unable to return to work.
