Hi, I am Tom's sister Karen.

This fundraiser is to help cover the expenses for home modifications for Tom. Tom recently had his lower leg removed due to complications from diabetes. Tom and his wife Jenn, daughter Christina, and son Justin, will need extensive modifications made to their Parma home to accommodate Tom’s new situation. These modifications are not covered by insurance. Some of these modifications include:

A walk-in shower

A railing for the front steps

Some sort of ramp to make it easier for him to get in/out of the house.

A backyard fence. (doesn't have to be large) Tom loves his dog's, but it will be so hard for him to try and chain them up when his family isn't there.

They will have a lot of additional medical expenses, deductibles, co pays etc.

Those of you who know Tom know how kind, caring, and funny he is. Tom loves his family, his pets, and shopping at Walmart! Tom’s wife, Jenn, is a well-loved teacher at Hillside Middle School in Parma.

He has been on medical disability for a long time now, I always tell him that he has more than 9 lives!

These past few years have been worse for him medically, not to mention they suffered a severe house fire a couple years back.

We are asking that you consider giving to help Tom, Jenn, Christina, and Justin make their home easier for Tom to navigate going forward. If you cannot give, a share or a prayer for them would be great too!
