The Fuel Juice Bar
My son and I have been serving Healthy Food to the community of Bed-Stuy located in Brooklyn for 4 years. We have tried to survive through this hard situation of Covid-19 as much as we could, not because we wanted to make money but for the reason of continuing to help support our community, our workers and creating more jobs. Due to this national health crisis, we’ve had to lay off our employees and shut down operations. We were not making enough to cover all the expenses or even the rent. Since all orders come through the apps such as GrubHub, Uber, Caviar - 30% of sales go straight to them and not having sales in store makes it very difficult.
However, we have spoken with our landlord last week, he is willing to work with us and make a payment plan until we can make on time our rent, the same thing our vendors and some other expenses we have, After make sure that everything is going to be safe for our workers and our customers, we decided to open again. Unfortunately, we can not have back to all our employees, we decided to keep some of them until we can recover of this catastrophic situation. They are working hard in order to make the food get to your place.
Any contribution however small is greatly appreciated. Thank you for everyone’s support.
100% of all proceeds will be going directly to The Fuel Juice Bar to cover expenses and help our employees.
Sincerest Thanks,
