Hi everyone.

My name is Marco Palamone originally from Italy and currently a professional dancer in Germany. I started my training as a gymnast from a very young age and then moved to Ballet. At the age of 10 I won a place at Elmhurst Ballet School in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet and moved on to graduate at English National Ballet School in London obtaining a diploma in dance in 2015.

After my training I started my professional career at Teatrul De Balet Sibiu in Romania following to Melbourne City Ballet in Australia, Opera Grand Avignon in France and currently at Theatre Plauen-Zwickau in Germany.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with great excitement and passion as I embark on a journey to host the first edition of an International Dance Gala in my hometown in the north of Italy. I would be honored if you could support this endeavor and help make this dream a reality.

Allow me to share a little about myself and why this event holds such deep personal significance. At the age of 10, I left my beloved hometown and ventured abroad alone to pursue my passion for dance. It was a courageous decision that shaped the course of my life and ultimately led me to a successful career in the world of dance.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of meeting incredible artists and people from around the globe. These encounters have not only enriched my artistic understanding but have also shaped me as an individual. The artists I have encountered have instilled in me discipline, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the power of expression through movement. They have inspired and challenged me to push beyond my limits, both physically and creatively.

Now, I feel a strong calling to bring the world of dance back to my hometown and share the magic I have experienced with my community. The International Dance Gala will be a spectacular showcase of talent, uniting exceptional dancers from classical ballet to contemporary works on one grand stage. This event will not only provide a platform for these international artists to shine but also create an opportunity for my community to witness and appreciate the beauty and diversity of dance.

Dance is not merely a form of entertainment; it holds a profound significance in our society. It has the power to transcend language barriers, cultural differences, and societal divides. Through the universal language of movement, dance has the ability to connect people and evoke emotions in ways that words cannot. By hosting this gala, we can ignite a sense of unity, inspire creativity, and foster cultural exchange within our community.

Furthermore, this inaugural edition of the International Dance Gala marks the beginning of a yearly event that can have a lasting impact on my/our community and beyond. By establishing this as an annual celebration, we can nurture and inspire the next generation of dancers. The gala will not only provide a platform for talent to showcase their skills but also offer workshops, masterclasses, and interactions with international artists. Through these opportunities, we can ignite the spark of passion in young dancers, shaping their dreams and aspirations.

Due to the expenses that this gala I am seeking your support to bring this dance gala to life. The funds will be used for technical requirements, ensuring dancer safety, and showing appreciation to the artists for their dedication and hard work.

Mi chiamo Marco Palamone, originario dell'Italia e attualmente un ballerino professionista in Germania. Ho iniziato la mia formazione come ginnasta fin da giovanissimo e poi sono passato al balletto. All'età di 10 anni ho ottenuto un posto alla Elmhurst Ballet School in associazione con il Birmingham Royal Ballet e ho poi conseguito il diploma in danza presso la English National Ballet School di Londra nel 2015.

Vi scrivo con grande entusiasmo e passione mentre intraprendo un viaggio per ospitare la prima edizione di una Gala Internazionale di Danza nella mia città natale nel nord Italia. Sarei onorato se poteste supportare questo progetto e aiutare a realizzare questo sogno.

Permettetemi di condividere un po' di me stesso e perché questo evento ha un significato personale così profondo. All'età di 10 anni, ho lasciato la mia amata città natale e ho intrapreso un'avventura all'estero da solo per perseguire la mia passione per la danza. È stata una decisione coraggiosa che ha plasmato il corso della mia vita e mi ha portato a una carriera di successo nel mondo della danza.

Durante il mio percorso, ho avuto il privilegio di incontrare artisti incredibili e persone provenienti da tutto il mondo. Questi incontri non solo hanno arricchito la mia comprensione artistica, ma mi hanno anche plasmato come individuo. Gli artisti che ho incontrato mi hanno insegnato disciplina, dedizione e un profondo apprezzamento per il potere dell'espressione attraverso il movimento. Mi hanno ispirato e sfidato a superare i miei limiti, sia fisicamente che creativamente.

Ora sento una forte chiamata a riportare il mondo della danza nella mia città natale e condividere la magia che ho vissuto con la mia comunità. La Gala Internazionale di Danza sarà una spettacolare mostra di talento, unendo ballerini eccezionali dal balletto classico alle opere contemporanee su un grande palcoscenico. Questo evento non solo offrirà una piattaforma per questi artisti internazionali per brillare, ma creerà anche un'opportunità per la mia comunità di assistere e apprezzare la bellezza e la diversità della danza.

La danza non è solo una forma di intrattenimento; ha un significato profondo nella nostra società. Ha il potere di superare le barriere linguistiche, le differenze culturali e le divisioni sociali. Attraverso il linguaggio universale del movimento, la danza ha la capacità di connettere le persone ed evocare emozioni in modi che le parole non possono. Ospitando questa gala, possiamo accendere un senso di unità, ispirare la creatività e favorire lo scambio culturale all'interno della nostra comunità.

Inoltre, questa prima edizione della Gala Internazionale di Danza segna l'inizio di un evento annuale che può avere un impatto duraturo sulla mia/nostra comunità e oltre. Stabilendo questa celebrazione come un appuntamento annuale, possiamo coltivare e ispirare la prossima generazione di ballerini. La gala non solo offrirà una piattaforma per far emergere il talento e mostrare le loro abilità, ma offrirà anche workshop, masterclass e interazioni con artisti internazionali. Attraverso queste opportunità, possiamo accendere la scintilla della passione nei giovani ballerini, plasmando i loro sogni e aspirazioni.
