Help to support Marley's fight for recovery.

Hi everyone, my name is Jalisa and Im doing this on behalf of everyones favorite munchkin Marley.
First of all thank you to anyone and everyone who has loved and supported Marley and I over the years. She has had my heart quite literally since the day she was born. I've been blessed to have been able to raise her from birth, and get to experience life with my baby girl. Quite literally since I've been 18, she has been by my side getting to grow up with me.

Anyone who knows me personally, knows that Marley is literally an extension of me. She is my little tan, four-legged shadow. She has always been so loved, and spoiled and well taken care of.

Anyone who's been blessed to know Marley, knows that she is so absolutely goofy, sweet, energetic, smart, crazy and so vibrant and full of life. Even when shes not feeling well, she still finds a way to make me smile. People who don't even know us, will stop us on walks to greet her and give her attention and love.

Ive been blessed with the fact that I've been able to take care of everything she's ever needed. People throughout our lives have given us nothing but love and support.

Unfortunately I need that support more than ever currently. Marley has been fighting so hard for herself, and I and others are fighting so hard for her.

My munchkin Marley is currently hospitalized at an ER veterinarian, with an Internist working with her case. Marley has been, and is currently stable for her situation.
This is something that can be treated with medicine therapy (antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and IV's), to breakup a blockage and get her back to normal.
Or, the last resort option, (if medicine therapy proves not to be helpful) which is surgery for gallbladder removal.
This surgery, Im not going to lie would be the only other option for her to get better. The only reason she is not immediately going for surgery, is due to the fact she is stable, and the ER vets would like to get an additional ultrasound before considering the surgery. Which is why I, and the vets are trying to exhaust all other options before jumping into a surgery. Especially due to the fact that she's fighting everyday, since her diagnosis, to get better.
Per the ER vet, an additional updated ultrasound (she's already had one done at the standard vet) would futher help in determining if she needs to go to surgery.
If surgery is needed, its something that could be done to very much help her get better and recover from this issue.

Marley's diagnosis was determined to be a blockage in her gallbladder tract. With a mucocele forming, but not 100% blocking her tract (gallbladder, liver and small intestine).
Per vets, it does not appear painful for her (as she is still acting like her crazy Marley self, just weaker). But do to the backup of the bile from the mucocele, its causing her to be jaundiced and feel nauseous which is making her not want to eat.

Her levels via blood panels, for everything else in her body is normal, and she is healthy! She is alert, walking, drinking water, going outside, feeling energized (when she can) even wagging her tail, which is a good sign!!

The ER vets will see how she progresses with the medicine therapy and hopefully another ultrasound, before considering surgery.
Im trying my best to keep her in the best care for this, and give her the best chance to continue fighting, because she's doing it so well!
My goal for this is to continue to fight for her, because baby girl is fighting so hard for herself to get better.

For transparency, any money provided to me will be used to be able to keep her in the ER hospitalization stay, in addition to the medicine provided during and after that stay. As well as any more lab work that she needs done, to report on her levels, in particular for Bilirubin. She has already had very costly procedures done to help diagnose, and monitor her situation. These include, blood draws for lab reports, an ultrasound of her gallbladder and liver organ tissue, as well as Xrays. In addition to injections for nausea, pain relief and IV fluids and medication. In the event she needs more of the larger tests done, for further monitoring her condition I want to be able to do that for her.
Most importantly, I want to able to give her a better chance of overcoming this. If it goes to the worst case scenario if things change, and she needs to go into surgery.
I just want to be able to help my baby girl, as she's been helping me the entire time I've had her in my life.

If you can, spread this for awareness, and monetary wise, anything at all would be greatly appreciated!!
I promise after this, she will continue to be the most loved and spoiled munchkin.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!!

-With love, from Marley and her mommy Jalisa.
