No family should ever have to bear the loss of a mother, a sister, a daughter or a friend but we can all accept that this may be an inevitable part of life.

But to cope with this loss knowing their life was senselessly and selfishly taken by another person is unbearable and for the majority of us, unimaginable.

But for Helen's children and her family, this has become their reality.

Alongside the trauma, the sorrow, the grief, the unending questions and the heartache, come the mundane costs her family will have to incur in order to simply start their grieving process.  Funeral arrangements, including travel costs, will be a huge burden for Helen's family to bear while they grieve.

Some of her immediate family are overseas and will need to travel to attend her funeral and to transport her ashes abroad.

Helen's life mattered. She was dearly loved by so many.

This is just the start of a new chapter for her family.

Her children will need continued support. Her family will need to find ways in which to carry on without her.

Please, please help me to lighten the weight that will be on their shoulders.

If we can "do" something for them, let it be to take one worry away and help them to manage these costs and support her children with some funding which may be needed for their care and for their mental health.

Their is no limit to what to donate, however big or small. Their is no set amount to reach. Whatever we can do to help, will help.
