Help to support Cindy's son Kevin (Po) & family

As some of you are aware, our dear friend Cindy Schneider has been going through a lot recently and could use our help. Not only has she had to deal with having to move Ray to a new facility not once, but twice, her oldest son who lives in Arizona is experiencing serious health issues. Kevin, or as his friends in Arizona know him as Po, is suffering from severe liver disease. He has to constantly be drained of fluid upwards and over 10 lb each time. It is the only way for him to be comfortable, and not in terrible pain, but unfortunately it also means that he is unable to work or support himself. He has been evicted from the property he lived on because he could not pay the rent. A dear friend has offered Kevin a place to stay and to take care of him while he undergoes medical attention/treatments, but the costs are adding up. Cindy is currently in Arizona to support Kevin and her grandson Chance (who is staying with his father in Tuscon), as they navigate Kevin's treatments. However due to the costs of living, feeding 4 people and the specific organic food Kevin can tolerate when he is able to eat, the cost is adding up very quickly. Add to that the other usual bills...medical, phone etc. and it is unsustainable.

If there is any way any of you would be willing and able to help Cindy out financially it would be greatly appreciated! This is an extremely hard thing for Cindy to ask for this type of help, and unfortunately there is no income coming in for Po or his son Chance (whose work is located in Bisbee, a few hours away from Tucson). It's definitely a challenge to sustain all the expenses at this time so every little bit would absolutely help!

About Donations: We're using GOFUNDME because it allows several different payment options to be funneled into one spot, BUT there is a small payment-processing fee involved. While it's free to set up a GOFUNDME page, they just ask for 2.9% + $0.30 for the payment processing of each donation to help them operate safely and securely. We're OK with that, but if you are able, please consider covering that fee with your donation as well. For example, a $10 donation means a $0.29 fee plus $0.30, which is a total of $0.59.
