Hi, my name is Mollie. My boyfriend Travis and I will be revisiting a dog shelter in Langkawi, Malaysia for the 3rd time in February for 6 weeks.

This people on this island are NOT kind to the dogs. They believe they are dirty, rodent like if you will. So what do they do? They poison them, in mass. Our aim is to support the shelter financially, so they can house more dogs as it’s not safe for them elsewhere on the island.

We need donations for: medical bills, food, desexing etc. The foundation is called 4 paws. It’s ran by a lady who devotes her life to the animals. She has VERY little help from people on the island, in fact she has received death threats and people have slashed her tires, all because she is trying to help these poor dogs. It’s not a majorly popular island for tourism yet so unlike shelters in Thailand for example she really revives VERY little funding leaving her to make tough decisions for the dogs as often she can’t afford the medical treatment they need.
