Help to save our Homestead Property and Livelyhood

Hi, my name is Jonny Blackburn- I'm starting this fundraiser for my loving sister Michelle and her fiancé Mike Baker - to reach out to all family, friends, and anyone who can donate towards saving their home as they are financially desperate and in some critical times.

The possibility of losing their homestead and property after all that they have worked for over the past 3 years to maintain current property taxes, bills, loss of work, and major health issues has set them so behind, and are struggling to make it by day to day.

From Michelle:

It is of the utmost importance we don't lose our property to a tax lien sale and everything we have built our lives around. Unfortunately, Mike came down with Shingles for 8 months and has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 years, unable to work consistently. We are a the brink of losing our property being behind in back property taxes & homeowner’s insurance, and unable to pay the water bill till they shut it off.

Our EBT is spent on the first day of the month as well. The terrible dirt road conditions with the last storm have wrecked our only car that is registered and insured. It can no longer drive on any freeway until it can afford to be fixed. There are several vehicles behind in registration & insurance. We need help to barely catch up. The roof had dozens of shingles fly off during the last big storm, which caused leaks of water in our house among many other repairs needing to be completed.

We are reaching out for any help if possible to save all that we have - anything is a blessing! All funds will be used to clear up our property taxes first, fix up our transportation, and cover our late utility bills to get us moving and on the right track financially.
