Help Hasan Salvage Lost Items

 

Hasan is the kind of guy that goes out of his way to help his friends, strangers, whoever he sees in need. He lights up any room he walks into with his warm, infectious smile and is ready to give anyone a hug, even those who didn’t think they needed one until they got one.

 

Hurricane Ida came through New York and New Jersey and surrounding areas with such unimaginable force and widespread destruction.

Sadly, my friend Hasan has been directly affected by the Hurricane and the flooding that we’ve all seen on the news.

 

Hasan has lost everything. The flood waters were so damaging, coming up from the basement of his building and from the outside. When he was finally able to get out of his 1st floor apartment, he had to wade through waist high water with his animals above his head. Sadly, one of his beloved cats drowned in the flood. As any pet owner knows, your pets are your family. This has been beyond devastating for him.

 

From all his clothes, his furniture, precious family pictures and everything in between, there is hardly anything that was salvageable. Imagine everything in your house being destroyed. All the things you lovingly purchased through the years, the gifts, and mementos you received, and your everyday creature comforts gone just in a few hours. This is what Hasan is going through.

 

Hasan will need to rebuild from scratch. With furniture, appliances, clothes, household items, food, you name it. Everything.  Any and every amount contributed will be used for all those necessities of life.
