Hello,

I’m Rocco, a spirited 9-month-old pup who’s faced more challenges than most in my short life. After being bred by someone, I found myself in what was meant to be a loving home. Sadly, fate had other plans, and I ended up with a severe leg injury.

My new family couldn’t afford to take me to the vet, so they returned me to where I was bred. Alone and in pain, I was left tied to a fence, unnoticed and uncared for. Despite efforts to find help through charities, my situation remained dire.

Thankfully, fate intervened again when a compassionate dog walker heard about my plight. Recognizing my urgent need for medical attention, she rushed me to a vet. What we discovered was heartbreaking: a dislocated shoulder and an untreated broken bone that had healed incorrectly, leaving my entire leg impaired.

Now, I face a critical operation to save my leg. The estimated cost, including x-rays and pain management, is £3000. While the vet is offering a discount, it’s still a significant amount for me and my rescuers to cover.

I may be young, but I’m full of life and love to run. With your support, I can undergo the surgery I desperately need to lead a pain-free, active life. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to that goal.
