My name is Jessie Santiago, and I am fundraising for my stolen camera and audio equipment that occurred in Oakland, California on June 15, 2022. After recording footage for a documentary for FMA Pulse, I stored all of my gear in the trunk of my car.

The person I interviewed and myself went to go eat afterwards in the downtown Oakland area. After 3 hours, when we were about to go home, I noticed that the rear passenger side window was broken. The back seat was folded down and all of my video/audio and lighting gear was taken.

I made a report to the Oakland Police Department, but I have not received any response. My insurance said that they can only reimburse me $500. That won’t even cover 1 camera cost.

Being a contract videographer, this is my only source of income. I need your help in any way you can so I can continue making a living.
