Hi my name is Magdalena, on Wednesday 4 February 2026, my bike was stolen in Bristol Broadmead. I’d had it for nearly five years and truly loved it. It wasn’t just a bike it was my lifeline. I relied on it every day to take my little boy to school, get to work, do the shopping, and get around Bristol. Neither my partner or I drive, so losing it has made day-to-day life really difficult.

After chatting with friends and taking their advice, I’ve decided to reach out and ask for a little help.

Replacing the bike on my own just isn’t possible right now. A similar bike today costs much more than what I originally paid, and that’s before adding a decent lock and GPS tracker to help keep it safe. After a tough year dealing with health problems and medical costs, I simply can’t manage it.
