Help to rebuild after losing both of our parents

I have always heard the saying, “your life can literally change in the blink of an eye”. Sometimes that’s good and sometimes that’s bad. Unfortunately for my siblings and I, it has not been the most positive change. My name is Miya and I have two siblings, a brother and a sister. Normally holidays are festive occasions, celebrated with love and happiness. Well (maybe “sadly” or “unfortunately”) in our case we spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas trying to process the loss of our parents back to back. Our father passed away on November 23, 2021, just a day shy of his 59th birthday. While we worked through the process of losing him, our mother was still in the hospital fighting a long and hard fight. She was getting better and making improvements, however on the very day we laid my father to rest, [December 23, 2021], she passed away the same night. Losing our parents exactly one month from each other and around the holidays has left us feeling empty in every aspect of life. As we try to navigate the massive void in our lives left by the deaths of our parents, we are also trying to manage financially. From the day we lost our father my family and I have to shift gears a lot. We are asking for monetary love blessings/offerings no matter how big or small to help us maneuver through this new and unfortunate reality. Moving forward is not an easy task as the three of us are now parentless at very young ages. Aside from the mental and emotional traumas over the last month and everything happening so suddenly we are at a true lost. Between final arrangement expenses, pending and upcoming bills, handling their finances and being out of work since November to care for my mother until she departed, we are in a place where financially we are just unable to sustain. We appreciate your assistance and the love and support we’ve been given during this difficult time. Every bit helps and we are beyond grateful for the love and support that has been offered.
