Help to rebuild after a fire took our home
Donation protected
Hi there,
I'm Chelsea, and I'm reaching out to our amazing community during an incredibly tough time. Recently, my family, including my wonderful mum Michelle, experienced a devastating fire that left our home, made with asbestos, uninhabitable. I'm a 27-year-old, working as a manager at Saint Vincent de Paul, a volunteer CFA firefighter, and a dedicated Scout Leader at Rosebud Sea Scouts.
Currently, we're staying at the local Scout Hall, trying to navigate this challenging situation. Our beloved animals are temporarily placed with others, and the separation is heartbreaking. The fire spared the structure, but the smoke and ash damage made our home and its contents unsalvageable. We lost priceless artifacts and collectibles that held immense sentimental value.
To make matters even tougher, the local council is insisting we remove a skip bin in front of our property or face heavy fines. Right now, our priority is finding a roof over our heads, and this added demand is a significant stress.
I'm reaching out for your support to help us rebuild our lives. Your contributions will go towards finding a new place to call home, replacing essential belongings, and addressing the urgent council demands. Every bit makes a difference.
Let's come together as a community to lift us from this devastating situation. Share our story widely, and let's show that we are not alone in our time of need.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity
