A lady contacted us at Tendring Feral Rescue and asked us to help a stray emaciated kitty that was laying in their garden. Off course off we went, collected him and took him to a fosterer over night as he was booked into linkswood vets for the following day. I had him dropped off to me the next day and I took him to linkswood. They said he was extremely under weight, he would need a dental and he would need a full set off bloods. That afternoon they done the bloods and run them in house, when they finally calmed him down they anaesthetised him ready for surgery. When they opened his little mouth he was riddled with oral cancer and an aggressive form at that. The vet rung us and they said the best thing for him while he was under to put him to sleep. We agreed and he was let go to go over the rainbow bridge.
SADLY OUR RESCUE IS RUNNING LOW ON FUNDS AS WE PAY FOR EVERY FERAL, STRAY OR DOMESTIC KITTY THAT NEEDS OUR HELP, WE NEVER SAY NO !! SO PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU COULD HELP US PAY THE LAST CHUNK OF OUR VET BILL.
£350- £222.35 was for bloods and the rest was to have him cremated so we can bring him home with all the other kittys.
