Hello Everyone,
We friends Abhijeet, Hema Rachmale, Swati Deshpande-Denver Team, Vidya Joshi, Dinesh Shinoy & team, Dr.Anvita Saini, Sughanda Tijoriwala” are fundraising on behalf of Pawar family.
A clever student Priyanka Pawar (age-25) from Mumbai came to USA on January 28th 2022 on J1 visa w/ very basic health insurance & most of surgeries not insured in her health coverage. She was working at Westin Hotel downtown Denver Colorado. Unfortunately she met with medical emergency. It’s all started with her swollen legs, when she went to the hospital on 19th of April for screening. After some test results doctors found that She got infected with tuberculosis that caused damage to her lungs and liver. While she was at Hospital for treatment She had a cardiac arrest. Meanwhile her esophagus got ruptured and doctors had to done surgery for it. (She's diagnosed with miliary tb and suddenly unknowingly shes had esophagus perforation and due to tb she's having acute hypoxemic respiratory failure which leads to tachycardia. In such conditions she needed continous oxygen support . She's unable to walk and do the normal activities)
Currently she is in critical condition & lack of good health insurance. She has fluid infection in her lungs as well that is making her condition worsened. Currently her parents are in India & her family background is not that strong to take care of her Hospital bills & travel to USA. They are trying to get here as soon as possible on emergency Medical visa. We are going to use this fund for Priyanka’s Hospital Bills as she has been in the hospital for a month & does not have valid medical insurance with her.
So we friends are requesting you to please do your best monetary donation to this bright student- Priyanka Pawar. And pray for her to get well soon!
