Help to pay for Shawn's final expenses
Donation protected
Hi, This is Kathy, Shawn's wife. Shawn passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, February 21st, 2022. He went into the hospital on Friday, Feb 11th, not feeling quite as sick as he actually was. His condition seemed to fluctuate little by little each day in both directions. We were totally blind-sided by his rapid decline, and untimely passing. His Mom and I are completely and totally devastated. He & I did not have life insurance, and lived on a fixed income. We didn't have above & beyond, but were still blessed with what we did have, and very very happy. This man was the love of my life, and here I am left to cover the majority of his final expenses, but I cannot do it alone. Those who were able to help, have. For as an amazing man as he was, he deserves anything I can do for him as my last gift. The expenses will cost $7200. But the only way I could pay for this, would be to get a loan. I am able to qualify for a loan (that I can certainly afford to repay without a problem), but because I have no credit, and it requires a co-signer, which I haven't found yet, I cannot go that route. I may be able to qualify for a collateral loan, but the payments are entirely too high compared to my income. I positively cannot afford that. All I know, is that I need a majority of the funeral fees ($4500) on the day of the funeral (March 4th), and they require the remainder (2700) by April 4th. I am stressed beyond belief, not to mention absolutely broken-hearted. I can sell personal effects to raise funds, but there's no guarantee if/when they'll sell, or if it'd bring me close to what we need. If anyone can help in any way, I would truly deeply appreciate it. And I know Shawn would have too. Thank you so very much in advance to you. I appreciate each & every one of you.
