As some of will know we had to put our beloved dog Poppy to sleep on Dec 27. Poppy was the heat and soul of our family, she was more than just a pet dog, she was the focal point for myself, my partner and our two kids. She was my friend, my confidant, she saved me many times when I was in the pit of despair with the black dog. Without her love, I really don't know if I would still be here.

While we had pet insurance our policy won't cover the full costs of her stay at the local vet hospital, and we are now faced with a bill of £4000. It's money we don't have right now, so I am asking you if you can find it in your hearts to donate to help pay for the vet costs.

If you can't donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser on your social media networks. Any help will be gratefully received.
