Help to pay for Dougies' IVDD surgery

On the 6/2/24 Dougie was diagnosed with stage 5 IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). IVDD is a severe condition that affects the spine causing intense pain and paralysis. Dougie had to undergo emergency spine surgery immediately. While the surgery was successful, dougie is still paralyzed and has no control over his bowels and bladder.

After 5 nights in the hospital, we were able to take him home. The cost of his surgery, hospitalization and rehabilitation was £8,500. I understand times are tough for many. Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to our family and Dougie.

Please keep us in your hearts. This is only the beginning of a lifelong journey. He’s the happiest dog and deserves a fighting chance. We hope that one day he will be able to walk, play and run around with his little brother again.
