Help to pay deposit and advance rent as homeless

Hi my name is Amanda. I’m fundraising because I recently lost my home and everything I owned when my boat I was living in sunk. This was hugely traumatic for me as my three cats were inside the boat when it went down. I thankfully had my dog with me as if not she would have died.

I had to get the fire brigade out to rescue my cats one of whom was stuck inside the cabin which was badly flooded.

I have managed to source a rental property but despite trying all avenues to find funding for the advance rent and deposit I’ve been unable to obtain help due to various reasons I’m happy to provide details of. I didn’t qualify for discretionary funding as I didn’t get housing benefits already :-( and have applied to various local charities but have been refused as they don’t offer help with rent or deposits sadly.

I don’t want to be a burden to the council as trying to find me housing for myself and my animals would be difficult. Which is why I found my own rental.

I just need help to fund the advance payments.

I lost my father earlier this year and have some serious health issues I’m currently battling :-(

I just need a little help if possible. I hate asking for help but I’ve been left no choice. I just need a roof over iut heads before christmas.
