help to pay bills until disability kicks in
My name is Carl Wilkinson. I recently had a heart attack on May 31st. I am 64 years old and have worked my entire life as a carpenter. I worked 7 days a week to provide for my family. While in the hospital I was diagnosed with heart disease and emphysema. The heart surgeon said that I need to have open heart surgery to put in several stents but my lungs are too damaged at this moment. I can not work at the moment, my wife has had hip and neck surgery and can not work either. My daughter and her husband have been helping as much as they can but they have 3 kids to care for. I have applied for disability but it proving to be a long process, we are struggling during this time. My daughter has been having to buy my heart medications, I do not have insurance and having a difficult time paying for my Drs. appointments much less my normal everyday bills. My everyday bills aren't much and would appreciate all the help I can get. This has been a very hard change for me, I dont know what to do with myself, I am used to working 7 days a weeks doing a job I love but I just cant do it anymore, my body will not allow me. Any help would be greatly appreciated and used wisely. Thank you.
