My Story: A Designer with a Dream

My name is Amy and I’m the founder and designer of Evolverie.

I have lived in Columbus, Ohio my entire life. What began as a shelved dream to be a fashion designer, has evolved into a clothing brand that not only focuses on the environment but the humanity side as well. Together, we have created an amazing online community & shopping experience over the past year. My hope is to create a positive impact in our own local community as well by opening up the first ethical and sustainable handmade women’s clothing storefront in central Ohio.

I believe clothing should be ethically designed, made, sustainably sourced and affordable. I work with a wonderful team who hand-make each garment just for our brand, from start-to-finish using locally sourced and sustainable materials. I also believe that time and attention adds value to Evolverie’s clothing, being 100% transparent on how our clothing is made from design, to sourcing, to production.

Evolverie’s main goal is for you to feel good about your purchases at an affordable price.

My Vision: A Storefront for the Community, By the Community

As with any build out of a business, the cost almost always goes over budget. That’s where you all come in!

With your help, I will be able to purchase the necessary fixtures, renovations and inventory to make Evolverie a fully functional retail store! Any money I raise will go directly to purchasing things like fixtures, hangers, shelving and also help pay for renovation costs to add 2 dressing rooms, refinish the flooring, labor, paint, materials and store signage, everything I will need for a retail storefront. Our floor cost alone is $7,000 and 2 dressing room build-out’s total $2,000.

My Goal: $10,000

The storefront is slated to open in the middle of October 2021! I am setting out to raise $10,000 by October 7th. Knowing this space will be for the community and by the community keeps me going on this challenging journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
