Susan Perrett - Help us to make a lasting memory

Donation protected
Earlier this year Susan was in hospital having various tests done to find out what was wrong with her.  Doctors thought she had suffered a stroke (this was in fact the case) but was showing none of the usual signs.  After numerous blood tests and scans the unfortunate news came back, she has Glioblastoma grade 4 (Brain cancer). We were devastated with the news and even more horrified to find that the prognosis is so poor with this disease, the most common length of survival following diagnosis is 12 to 18 months, with fewer than 3 to 5% of people surviving longer than five years. Without treatment, survival is typically just three months. We are now trying to raise funds so that she can go on holiday with the family and make a lasting memory for us with the little time she has left. On investigating travel insurance for her with the prognosis she has quotes are coming in at around £3000.  We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of her insurance and holiday. I am not asking for money to help fund our own holiday, this would be raised purely for my mum. Any help with donations would mean so much and we all would be very grateful. Any extra money that is donated will be given to St Luke's Hospice.
