Help to Lighten the Grochowskis' Burden

Our dear friends, Dave & Amy Grochowski, have entered a time of trial in the form of Dave's cancer diagnosis. They are trusting the Lord to bring them through and are already astonished at the ways in which He is providing.

We are raising funds to help them with unexpected medical bills. The amount given will go toward their anticipated out-of-pocket expenses for this year. Other financial burdens may arise during treatments, and if so, we will update the fundraising amount to reflect the current needs. Thank you for doing what you can to lighten their load during this difficult time.

This is their story, told by Amy:

"On July 7, 2021, my husband first heard the word "cancer" from his doctor. The diagnosis is metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer, caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Dave will undergo 2-3 rounds of chemo followed by scans, and then another 2-3 rounds thereafter. At that point, radiation treatments will commence. He began chemo on August 27th.

We do not walk this road alone. Our precious Lord has been closer than our very breath every step so far. Our family, our friends, our church family, our doctors and nurses, David’s co-workers, and even complete strangers have covered us with amazing love and support. It’s hard. So hard. And yet, we are so very blessed."
