Help my mother get life-saving medical treatment
My mother is the strongest person I know. Despite battling Parkinson's for over a decade, she has never lost her determination or will to live. But right now, she is fighting her toughest battle yet.
My mother recently spent a week in the hospital for serious underlying medical issues, including Chronic Kidney disease and extremely low hemoglobin levels (anemia). These complications, combined with her Parkinson’s, are putting her life at risk. While her mind remains sharp and strong—driven by her dream of meeting her grandchildren—her body is struggling more and more.
We are doing everything we can to ensure she receives the life-saving and life-extending medical care she urgently needs, but the cost of these treatments ( lifetime hemodialysis ) is enormous, and we need your help.
Why this fundraiser is important
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise €10,000, which will go directly to covering my mother’s immediate medical expenses in th Philippines. These treatments are essential to stabilize her health, improve her quality of life and give her the chance to fight on.
This is about more than just extending her life—it's about giving her the chance to experience the moments she's so eagerly awaited: meeting her grandchildren, celebrating family miles, and continuing to be the loving, resilient person she's always been.
My mother has endured so much suffering, especially over the last ten years as her Parkinson’s has gotten worse. It’s heartbreaking to see her body failing her while her spirit is so full of life. This is our chance to give something back to her.
