On Saturday, September 6th, we lost our beloved Zhyan 'Gigi' - my mom. She succumbed to her late cancer diagnosis and left peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends in our home.

Even with a terminal diagnosis, she fought to stay with us as long as she could. Her last couple of months have been very hard on her and her body, and we are happy she got to come home and pass away with us all there.

Though we knew she had a terminal diagnosis, we did not think it would be this soon and are unprepared.

We would love to raise funds to give her a beautiful funeral that aligns with our culture. Anything left over will help her family stay afloat during these difficult times.
