Help To Keep Somewhere In Hackney Vintage Open

Hi Everyone

My name is Melanie and I'm the owner of Somewhere In Hackney Vintage Boutique. I am starting this fundraiser to help my boutique remain open.

It has been heartbreaking trying to write this message to you all because running Somewhere In Hackney has been one of the biggest joys of my life. It has been and is, more than a shop - It's a community and a creative space where friendships and stories have been woven together. I meet the most amazing people who have become more than customers, they have become my friends.

My shop has been a home for so many beautiful people, memories and moments over these years and it makes me incredibly sad to have to write this. But, like so many small independent run businesses, I am and have been, feeling the cost of living crisis. With my landlord raising my rent, utility costs and my own personal household to maintain, without urgent help i will be sadly forced to close permanently and lose my beloved shop.

I am asking for your support to help me re-open.
