Since he was 4, Andrew has had only one aim in life: to cook and entertain. For his 4th birthday, he wanted a cruet set and soup ladles, not toys!

Yes, Andrew has autism and has already achieved so much in life, but not without struggles.

He attended catering college for 3 yrs and has worked in a variety of hospitality settings, gaining experience in cooking, front of house, operating the till, barista work. He has done well in each job, but he has struggled coping in noisy, busy environments and understanding all the social interactions of being part of a team. Not to mention the loss of sight in one eye. He is at a stage now of dearly wanting to fulfil his dream of running his own cafe business.

Andrew is a very likeable and popular young man and the current owner of the cafe is confident the customers would love Andrew. He would cope so much better being his own boss and with the willing support of his parents who live opposite the cafe. Andrew is hoping to employ his younger brother on Satudays. He also has Autism and this would give him some insight into the world of work. The cafe is all set up and ready to continue trading. Andrew's family have all the love and support they could have for him..........................but do not have the money.

The challenge? to raise £20,000  to be able to purchase the business, which is small enough for Andrew to run with a few hours per week of help.
