Hello My name is Dustin Meier on May 30th one of my younger sisters Tia Mercedes Arleth age 28 went missing her phone mysteriously stopped activity no social media etc naturally this alarmed all family members because it was very abnormal of her to not keep close contact with our mother who had dropped her at what she believed to be a friend's house. On June 17th her body was discovered and I won't go Into detail but we are now forced to cremate our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Much sooner than intended we were robbed of the opportunity to have a traditional wake and funeral due to the time that lapsed before she was discovered in a ditch just a few miles from home discarded like a fast food container. How someone could do this is beyond me an I cannot begin to express the impact this has had on myself and my parents and siblings. As some may be aware already that almost ten yrs an 2 month earlier our family suffered a devastating loss when my younger brother passed at the age of 27 due to health issues so as you can imagine to have a second child/sibling taken from our lives is having a devastating effect on each of us. Tia was taken way to soon in life, she was very loved by her family an friends and the world is a dimmer place without her Brite shining face. We haven't received any answers explaining anything which is beyond frustrating for us and we were not at all prepared to deal qith this tragedy again and my family would just like to be able to put her to rest properly and celebrate her life the way she deserves but we are financially unprepared for this kind of event and are in need of support .
