Help Me to Honor Donna and The Medical Profession Who Help!

Claire Fisher is not one to ever ask for help! My sister fought the demon of alcoholism for many years. Those that truly knew her knew she was the life of any party! I loved her with my whole being and underneath her demons, she had a heart of gold. I have watched her suffer the ultimate pain and suffering of anyone I know. She wanted to continue to live and fought with every ounce of her weakened body and knew she screwed up. She suffered bullying and ridicule in school life and was a very insecure person due to many of life's circumstances she suffered. Yes, we are in control of our own lives and can seek help, but over my years of living a life surrounded by addiction, some people are just not strong enough to succeed. If you have ever witnessed a family member or friend in the chains of any addiction, you know it can tare lives apart. I loved her with every ounce of my being and I am stepping outside of my comfort zone to ask for additional funds to add to my own to assist with her funeral expenses. Her body has to be transported back from NJ, which was the only rehab that would accept her in her financial state. She has no life insurance and overwhelming medical expenses. She never made it back home. In her life and death, she paid her price. I would also like to make a plaque and donation to hang in the halls of Select Medical Hospital in Wilmington, DE, to share her story and assist others in their recovery and fights against addiction. Select Hospital had the most dedicated and hardworking professional team I have ever witnessed, helping those who have suffered a catastrophic illness. Donna suffered a major heart attack, caught the flu that went into pneumonia and it hit all of her major organs. From January 31st to May 7th, she fought to keep living, which was only made possible by the love and prayers she received from so many of you! No amount is too small to make meaning of her life and suffering. I loved her and want to lay her to rest properly and have her existence in life benefit others in the long run. I will share the plaque upon its completion along with the donation given in her memory to Select Hospital in Wilmington. I loved her and I am stepping out of my comfort zone to ask for assistance from anyone who is able and chooses to help me in my quest. Life is so very short and full of trials and tribulations, and we all make mistakes and suffer our own demons. Live, Laugh, and Love—no truer words ever written. As the saying goes... forgive and forget... but if you don't forget, then you never forgave! I will love you and never forget you... you loved the best way you knew how. RIP my big sister in the arms of “The Lord.” Till we meet again... He's got you and me, sister, in his hands, and that song will forever play in my head. I sung it to you everday. I am grateful for the time God gave us to share together on this earth ❤️ I understand the feelings of negativity for those of us who succeed in life towards those who don’t and that is ok too! I respect everyone’s beliefs, but they are not my own. I will help anyone who needs me. I just never conquered the aspect that asking for help is truly ok! Thank you in Advance and feel free to share. Let her Life help to support others in the Halls of Select Medical Hospital in Wilmington. If we HELP One person turn their life around , then we have succeeded. Donna you were a Good person and you were Loved by those who truly knew you. Especially me. Now RIP…and know you were Loved.
