Hi guys, it's Chloe. I am reaching out to ask for your help to save my puppy, Lylah.

If you know me, you will know I love dogs. You would also know that Lylah is my dream dog. She is everything to me. Lylah is 14 weeks old. I got her at almost 8 weeks. A gorgeous Aussie Shepherd with the best personality.

Lylah became very sick recently and was rushed to the emergency vet. Lylah was so sick that she needed to see a special medication team at Waves Vets. Lylah had several tests, including bloods, ultrasound, neurological exams, and more. Lylah has been diagnosed with an Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt in her liver. The vessels in her liver don't work, and her liver is unable to filter the toxins. Lylah's liver didn't form as it should. She will need surgery to correct this. Lylah also has neurological problems, weak muscles, and her urine is crystalising. All of the above is due to her liver not functioning correctly. Lylah needs medication for life and a special diet.

Lylah is just a baby, and we would love to give her the best possible chance. So far, we have spent $4080 at Waves Vets and $260.00 at Baldivis vets. This was just the start of a very long road for Lylah. We have been advised that the cost of her surgery will exceed $15k. This surgery is not your average routine operation it is performed by a special team at Murdoch vets. There is only two clinics in the whole of Australia who do this surgery. One is in Murdoch and the other is in Melbourne. We are praying that we can have the surgery within WA.
