Milton Hernandez is a hard-working guy who runs Baymax construction. Anyone who knows Milton knows he is always happy and kind to everyone. In January, Milton was involved in a horrific accident when a car blindly pulled out to pass on a double solid yellow line, hitting several riders in a group of motorcyclists. Milton and his fiancé Diana were among them. Milton's injuries were extremely severe: he has multiple broken bones in his left arm both above and below the elbow as well as in three fingers; he also broke his femur and badly injured his left lower leg. Unfortunately, his injuries were so severe that his leg could not be saved and he had to have a below knee amputation. The pictures of the injuries are too graphic to show, but some of the x-rays are below.
Milton has an active physical job. He needs more surgery on his left leg including bone and skin grafts before he is able to get a prosthetic and he is in a wheelchair until his arm injuries heal.
Milton needs our help! While Milton had catastrophic health insurance, the other driver had no driver’s license and little car insurance, that will not even partially cover expenses. Milton needs help with everyday expenses, as well as with necessary medical visits, prescriptions, physiotherapy, and to purchase his prosthetic. Let’s get Milton back at work and help him start to heal from these life altering injuries and devastating loss.
