Help to fund Vision Therapy
Donation protected
I am raising funds for Vision Therapy Treatment to help with a long-term problem with dizziness which I have had for the past 12 years.
I have visited many different specialists across the country, with none of the treatments helping me. Recently some friends recommended a highly respected vision specialist in Dorset, and I have had an assessment carried out. After performing many tests, he discovered a visual imbalance which can be treated with Vision Therapy, to help the visual processing system return to normal. This is a real breakthrough for me as these specialist tests have never been carried out before.
Vision therapy is normally carried out over 2 weeks, but I will be going for 5 days to begin with, after which I will be assessed to see if there has been an significant improvement. This is what I am currently fundraising for.
Even writing this, I can feel an uncomfortable dizziness and sensation in my head. The dizziness is triggered by using computer screens, reading and visually demanding activites e.g. supermarket shopping. The dizziness can then last up to 2-3 days and can be very debilitating.
If you feel able to, I would really grateful for your support (and also your prayers!) in this.
