It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James Gemmell, a beloved husband, father, son and brother who left us yesterday, 10.07.24, after a courageous 13-year battle with a serious illness. James was a pillar of strength and love for his family, his wife Emma and their daughter Abbie.

Due to the prolonged and severe nature of his illness, James was unable to obtain insurance to cover the costs of his funeral. We are reaching out to you, his friends and his family to help us raise £4000, which is now the average cost of a funeral in Scotland. This fund will allow us to give James the dignified farewell he truly deserves and help alleviate the financial burden on Emma during this incredibly challenging time.

James's strength and love for his family were unwavering. He fought hard every day and remained a source of inspiration to those around him. Now, we have the opportunity to honour his memory and support the family he cherished so deeply.
