InMotion is an up-and-coming multicultural movement-based alternative theatre company based in London. As part of the Camden Fringe Festival, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming premiere of Let It Stain, an hour-long dark comedy at The Libra Theatre Café, Camden Town, on the 31st of July at 7 p.m., 1st of August at 6 p.m, and 2nd of August at 5:45 p.m.
We are attempting to raise funds to pay for our costumes, props, and set pieces that will help us tell our story.
About Us
The group consists of 7 young artists from Portugal and Spain. It was created in an academic setting, and due to its success, it was developed into a professional theatre company. Our first show after University happened in Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth, as part of their communal initiative program. We've also collaborated with an academic filming crew that resulted in a web series, which has won the Best Student Series award at Melbourne WebFest 2023.
Our show
Through a nonlinear series of unfortunate events, Let It Stain depicts life as a tango between love and violence. We follow moments of connection, gradually being swallowed by the brutality of human nature. The actors bring different tableaux to the stage, pushing and contorting their bodies to express their deepest and rawest feelings. Images of love, yearning, and aggression fill the stage, resulting in an epic dark comedy that aims to reveal our naked truth.
