LOGLINE:
Graveyard Shift follows Dale, a desperate low-level employee who is tasked with securing sensitive company data off of his recently deceased coworkers corpse. Throughout one night, he test the limits of what any dedicated employee would undergo to make ends meet. Would you have what it takes to climb the corporate ladder?
MEET OUR DIRECTOR:
My name is Thomas Kennedy, and I am the writer and director of Graveyard Shift. This story is one I’ve been meaning to tell for a long time. Prior to becoming a filmmaker, I dedicated myself to building a career in software engineering. I experienced burnout rather quickly, letting my personal relationships and mental health suffer in the background as I worked. This story aims to capture that feeling and satirize workplace culture, highlighting the things we give up for employers and organizations that oftentimes care very little for us.
I am currently a Senior Film & Television Major at Savannah College of Art and Design. The support you provide for this film will help to make my filmmaking dream a reality. Storytelling has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I would be honored to have your help in bringing this story to life.
MEET OUR PRODUCER:
My name is Jacob Kojder and my priority with filmmaking is ensuring the creative team is able to achieve their vision. I often produce comedy and horror films, so when Thomas approached me with a dark comedy project, I was instantly on board. I’ve been collaborating with Thomas for the last two years and they always manage to one up themselves with the scope of their projects, and this one is not an exception. “Graveyard Shift” is a thrilling dive into the tedious and overbearing modern work environment. But what happens when you send an office man on a blue collar job?
We have so many incredible sets and talented workers on this production. With support, we can achieve our team’s vision and bring together a collaborative experience for our viewers to enjoy. Thank you for your support!
