Just an update for those who do not know - frankie was rushed back into theatre Tuesday morning as his intestines had leaked and caused major infection. He was very poorly indeed back in intensive care. Unfortunately this has now resulted in the bill rising to £15,000.

Hi my name is Stacey and I am trying to help my cousin Jade and her family towards the cost of treatment for Frankie!

Frankie is a 2 year old

Short haired german pointer and is the loveliest dog ever! Unfortunately last week Frankie became unwell sickness and diarrhoea. Jade did all the normal things to help Frankie and after a couple of days he was not getting better so she took

him to her vets! They checked him treated him for sickness with injections etc and sent him home! The next day there was no improvemnt and he was still being sick not drinking or eating! Now being a pointer not eating give massive alarm bells they are human dustbins. He was taken back to the vet and told he would need to come back on Friday to be put on a drip , have bloods, x-rays etc! Friday came and after a full day in the result was they could see nothing on scan and bloods were not showing anything. They put it down to gastroenteritis with possibility there might be something that is stuck but they can’t tell and he would have to go through the royal veterinary college! They charged £1300 for this out of his insurance!

the royal veterinary have found a blockage on X-rays which the original vets clearly missed! Unfortunately it was too late and it has perforated his intestines and fluid had gone into this stomach! They have had to cut 40cm of his bowel away and it’s now in intensive care with a bill sitting at an estimated £8,000! this could have all been avoided if the vet had done things correctly!

the family will do everything to get their boy home safe a well but financially this is a lot of money they need to find!

I know everyone is in a tough place at the moment and with Xmas round the corner but I’m hoping just to get anything how ever little to help them get their baby home safe!
