Help to feed our birds
Donation protected
Hi Guys, I hate having to ask as I like to fend for myself and my birds but things have got a bit stressful now! My birds come first in everything I do and I really don't want to part with any as most are captive rescues I have given a good and permanent home to.
As some people will already know we have developers constructing a Solar Farm in the very near vicinity to my centre. The construction was supposed to take 9 months and started late last October with them putting in access roads across the fields for access etc.
Work on the actual construction of the Solar panels/Framework was due to start early in the new year but never got underway until late in March.
I managed to get the original company who submitted the planning permission to pay some compensation for the effect it would have on my centre. They then sold the permission once it had been passed to another company to build the Solar Farm who we have no claim against.
My centre has had to close during the weekdays due to the noise from diggers, stone lorries delivering and the worst noise coming from the pile driving of metal stakes into the ground to support the framework so leaving me only able to open on weekends, but the noise from pile driving started to happen on Saturdays as well so I was left with just Sundays. I was under the impression it would all be finished within the 9 months as suggested by the original company but it will be 12 months in October and I have been told today that it may stretch into November.
The compensation has now nearly run out and we are still closed with no income coming in but still have the birds to care for.
If there is anyway you feel you can help out by donating any amount however small to help with the birds upkeep and food until we are open again and back on our feet it would be much appreciated and gratefully received.
I would appreciate if you could share this please: many thanks.
