Here goes!

The final chapter.

So as you all know we are planning on opening up a cafe/ bistro in the fire damaged shop, we’re nearly there, but we are still wrangling with our Insurance company.

Why are we telling you this?

Because we simply need some help, we’ve done our best to fund it all ourselves but it is a bit of a struggle and as we want to create something beautiful, useful and an asset to Marshfield and we’re hoping that some of you might be able to help us.

We’re not expecting your help for nothing and anyone who pays in will receive a discount card to be used against any purchase made in The Olive Tree Bistro for the first 3 months of trading, we will also hold a private party to show our appreciation of your support.

Our plan is to open on the 31st August, exactly 3 years to the day the fire happened.

It’s going to be a big beautiful space offering 50 covers, we’re hoping to get a drinks license, offer fresh locally produced food, a venue that will be able to be booked for private functions as well as great coffee and Mary’s Cakes and an Olive tree garden.
