I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of Sean Murphy (Skip), who ruptured his ACL and torn his meniscus during pre-season training.

Sean has had a consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon who has said he will need an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. The cost of this surgery has come at a shock to us costing close to £14,000.

Sean is very keen to get back to playing football and if he was to go down the NHS route, he would wait a year before he gets the surgery then a potential 6-9 months of rehab and recovery after that.

I am therefore asking for help to cover some of the cost of the surgery, any donation would be appreciated no matter how small! Thanks for reading!x
