Lamont Farm is the only City Farm now left in Scotland, it was the first of its kind and the only one to remain, largely due to the work from all of the volunteers (it’s completely volunteer-run!) and the support from the local community.

Sadly the funding received is lowered every year, however the costs increase annually too so it’s a constant battle to stay afloat.

All money donated goes towards caring for the animals. As it’s a 100% voluntary project then there are no wages to be offset, so every penny goes towards feeding, caring for and ensuring the welfare of the 40+ animals residing there.

If the Farm doesn’t receive donations and funding then it will have to close, it’s been a massive part of the community for almost 49 years and would really like to reach the big 50! So please help if you can, every penny counts so if you can even donate a little it all helps towards a greater goal.
