Help to build the “Northenmost Foodforest”

We are Family of Tsirgumäe Toidusalu NGO.

Our Foodforest project is in early stage. The land what NGO owns is 11 hectare or 27 acres. We are creating a foodforest what is located in south Estonia. Temperature here can drop -30 celsius or -22F . Summers are ok but it is short. Project is little bit more than a year old and we have planted more than 200 trees and many vegetables what we are sending to our members who are living nearby. We have 25 members and hopefully more to come.

 

We are fundraising money for digging a pond. Old pond will run empty and where we need water is wetland. It is best place for pond for our foodforest water system. We have solar panels and water pump. What we don’t have is water. If we get water for plants and grape yard ( some grapes can handel extreme cold) we can grow bigger and better.

 

We have spoken the digging company and they will dig pond this winter. We have a agreement to pay the bill in 1 of May. Hopefully we can pay it with your help faster.
